Terms and Conditions
General Terms
Contest Organizer:
- The contest is organised by KSTDC.
Eligibility:
- The Contest is open to all residents of India who have reached the age of 18 by the time of the contest.
Contest Period:
- The Contest begins on the 1st of August and ends on the 31th of August at 11:59 PM.
How to Participate:
- To participate, entrants must create a captivating reel or photo showcasing the locations of Karnataka or KSTDC properties/packages. This could be accompanied by food, culture, festivals, adventure activities, and more.
- Reels and photos must be shared on Instagram and Facebook, tagged to KSTDC with mentioning of the hashtags #KSTDC #ExploreWithKSTDC #Karnatakaworld.
- Participants must follow @KSTDC on both platforms.
- Participants should also send a collaboration request on the social media.
- DM your contact information: Name, Age, Contact Number and Email.
Entry Guidelines
Content Requirements:
- Work must adhere to the contest’s theme, capturing the beauty.
- Participants must choose one of the contests, either video or photo.
- Content should be respectful and in compliance with community guidelines on Instagram and Facebook.
- Any content deemed inappropriate or offensive by the Organisers will be disqualified.
Submission Criteria:
- Reels should have duration of a maximum of 60 seconds.
- All entries must be the original work of the participant.
- All participants should mention the name of the location and place in the caption while uploading the work.
- Only one profile will be considered per entry.
- Participants must have legal rights to any music, images, or other copyrighted material used in their reels and photos.
- The soft copy of the content (Image/Video) to be shared to [email protected] along with Name, Age, Contact Number and Email.
Prize Claim:
- The prize won will be valid for six months from the date of announcement.
- Winners should intimate KSTDC for their booking (20 days) days prior.
- Winners can claim the stays on any day except government holidays, weekends, and peak seasons.
- The prize is only applicable to 2+ 2 child.
- The prize involves either Stay at KSTDC Mayura Hotels or KSTDC Bus Package tour as decided by KSTDC.
Winner Selection
Judging Panel:
- Entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges selected by the Organisers.
- Entries will be judged based on engagement (Likes, Comments, Shares), storytelling, creativity, and adherence to the guidelines.
- KSTDC reserves the right to select the winners of the contest.
Announcement of Winners:
- The winners will be announced on 1st week of September on the official Instagram and Facebook pages of KSTDC.
Rights and Responsibilities
Content Usage:
- Participants grant the organisers permission to share and repost their reels/ photos on their respective social media channels with proper credit by entering the contest.
Privacy:
- Personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the administration of the Contest and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Disqualification:
- The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions, engages in fraudulent activity, or breaches the rules.
Contest Modifications
Changes to the Contest:
- The Organisers reserve the right to modify or terminate the Contest, including extending or withdrawing it, without prior notice and without liability.
Legal Disclaimer
Liability:
- Participants understand and agree that the Organisers are not liable for any claims, losses, damage, costs, or expenses in connection with or arising from this Contest or the redemption of prizes.
- Applicable Law and Jurisdiction:
- This Contest is governed by the laws and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.
Acceptance of Terms
